FDC Driver - Atlanta

Temco Logistics is seeking a skilled and dependable CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to join our team! In this role, you'll operate a flatbed tractor-trailer to deliver a variety of home improvement supplies-including drywall, building materials, and lumber-to customer sites. You'll be the face of Temco, fostering strong customer relationships through a positive, professional attitude while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This is a local delivery position-you'll be home daily with early morning routes, making it ideal for those who enjoy physical work and customer interaction.Key Responsibilities:Safely operate flatbed trucks to deliver building materials to residential and commercial sites.Load and unload freight manually or using equipment such as forklifts or Moffett's; ensure all cargo is properly secured.Complete deliveries according to route schedule while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety and DOT compliance.Accurately maintain delivery logs, paperwork, and communication with dispatch.Deliver outstanding service by communicating effectively with customers and store staff.Qualifications:Minimum age of 21 years.Valid Class A CDL license.2-5 years of recent, verifiable CDL A driving experience.At least 1 year of flatbed experience required.Flexibility to work varying schedules to meet operational needs, including every Saturday.Current DOT Medical Card.Ability to pass a DOT urine drug screen and physical agility test.Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 lbs and unload freight manually.Clean criminal background check.No drug/alcohol tests failed while holding a CDL A license (NO SAP participants).Excellent driving record: no major violations in the last 12 months and no more than 2 in the past 3 years.Forklift certification or Moffett experience is a huge plus!Benefits:Best-in-Class PayPaid TrainingUniforms & PPE ProvidedMedical + FREE Dental & Vision401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time OffCareer Growth Opportunities - advance into leadership roles.
