Apply for position at: Location: US IN-Crane Employee Type: Full-Time/ Exempt Travel Required: Yes (2 times annually) Relocation Accommodation: TBD Approximate Start Date: Upon Suitable Candidate Selection Posting Close: Upon Suitable Candidate Selection TRISTAR is seeking a Electrical/Electronics Engineer III (RF MATLAB) for our government customer in Crane, IN Position Description: Seeking Electrical/Electronics Engineer III (RF MATLAB) Position Responsibilities: Will be responsible for the transfer of SPY-1's passive antenna array sustainment from the OEM to NSWC Crane Regular meetings with the OEM and IWS-1 to manage the transfer of OEM institutional RF knowledge about the radar system to NSWC Crane Regular travel will be required to the OEM for the verification of near-field test data prior to full sustainment of the array at NSWC Crane Assist other engineers in the transfer of the OEM's technical data package to NSWC Crane's configuration management system along with the creation of additional documentation to support sustainment Assist NSWC Crane in the specification and design of a near-field chamber to house the testing of the SPY-1 antenna array Help create a modified specification for the antenna array to support the creation of battle spares Position Requirements: Fluent in the use of full-wave electromagnetic solvers such as CST Microwave Studio or Ansys HFSS Experience modeling RF systems using MATLAB with the radar, antenna, and communication toolboxes Experience creating and deriving radar component specifications based on desired system level performance Experience testing large phased array antennas in a near-field chamber Must be a US Citizen An Active Secret Clearance is required or the ability to obtain one Radar Education and Certification: BS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering COVID Policy: TRISTAR does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
