This will prove extremely beneficial to our customers and our employees.With our commitment to professional growth and employee development, let AFL “Connect” you to your next career opportunity!You Need To HaveThe ability and drive to work well with others to achieve common goals and to foster a cooperative climate, as well as to work independently in the field with little supervision.MUST HAVE YOUR OWN VEHICLE AND TOOLS!Key ResponsibilitiesInstall fiber optic service to residential homes (FTTH installations)Run fiber from street to home (aerial and/or underground drops)Perform interior and exterior routing of fiber, including wall penetrations and clean cable managementInstall, configure, and activate high-speed internet and voice service equipment (ONTs, routers, voice gateways)Perform fusion splicing, terminations, and connectorizationTest and troubleshoot fiber lines using OTDR and power metersVerify proper operation of internet speeds and voice line functionalityEducate customers on their internet and phone services, including basic WiFi setupMaintain a clean, professional work environment inside customers’ homesEnsure all work meets company standards, safety requirements, and local codesAccurately document installs, service calls, and test resultsQualifications1–3+ years of experience in fiber optics, telecom, or residential installations preferredExperience working in customer homes with strong customer service skillsAbility to work both indoors and outdoors, including attics, crawl spaces, and exterior wallsMust have reliable personal vehicle for transportation to job sitesMust provide own basic tools required for installation workValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditionsComfortable working at heights and using laddersPreferred QualificationsFOA (Fiber Optic Association) certification or similarExperience with FTTH, GPON, or residential broadband deploymentsExperience installing or troubleshooting VoIP or voice servicesBasic networking knowledge (WiFi setup, routers, etc.)Experience with drilling, fishing lines through walls, and home construction basicsCompensation & BenefitsUnit payPaid training provided for candidates looking to grow in fiber optics and broadband servicesHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for advancement within a growing companyWork EnvironmentDaily travel to residential job sites across the Las Vegas areaWork performed both inside customers’ homes and outdoorsMay require working in tight spaces, on ladders, or in high temperaturesOn-call or weekend work may be required based on demandWhy ITC?ITC is a fast-growing company focused on delivering high-speed internet and voice solutions over next-generation fiber networks.
