We are dedicated to providing an enriching and supportive setting where children, families, and teachers flourish and thrive.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position located in West Harrison for a Montessori-certified Infant Head Teacher. The Head Teacher will be responsible for implementing a developmentally appropriate Montessori environment for infants aged three months to 18 months aligned with Montessori principles. They will follow the routine and schedule of the day, mentor and collaborate with teaching assistants, and maintain a nurturing and safe learning environment with safe supervision at all times, including outdoor play and naptime. Developing strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues is central to this role, along with ensuring adherence to OCFS and MCC guidelines.QualificationsProficiency in Curriculum Development and Pedagogy with a strong understanding of Montessori principles.Experience in Montessori education at the infant or toddler level with the ability to mentor and guide a team.Exceptional Communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff members.MACTE Montessori Infant and Toddler certification.Relevant experience as a lead teacher or similar role in early childhood education.Strong organizational and administrative abilities to manage classroom operations effectively.An Associate's Degree is required.
