Grant Proposal Developer

Hybrid - LOCAL Candidates Only Location: Hoffman Estates, ILNonprofit in the West Chicago suburbs is seeking an experienced and dynamic Grant Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing significant funding from a variety of sources, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies. This role is critical to advancing the mission and expanding its programs and services.Key Responsibilities:Grant Proposal Development: Lead the writing and submission of high-quality grant proposals, letters of intent, and supporting documents in response to funding opportunities.Research and Identification: Conduct thorough research to identify prospective funding sources and stay abreast of grant opportunities aligned with the organization's mission and programs.Collaboration: Work closely with program directors, finance staff, and executive leadership to gather necessary information and ensure alignment of proposals with organizational priorities.Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with grantors, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies, to foster ongoing support.Grant Reporting: Oversee the preparation and submission of interim and final reports to funders, ensuring compliance with all grant requirements and timelines.Data Management: Maintain accurate records of grant activities, funding prospects, and outcomes in the organization’s database.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Communications, Nonprofit Management).
