Assisted Living Supervisor RN

**Job Overview:** We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Attendant to join our team in a retirement home setting. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about helping others and have experience in home care or assisted living settings. **Duties:** - Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Provide medication administration and manage resident medications - Support residents with personal care and mobility assistance - Assist with household chores, laundry, and meal preparation - Encourage and promote resident independence and autonomy - Respect and uphold resident rights, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment - Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans - Monitor and report any changes in a resident's condition or behavior - Maintain a clean and organized living space - Assist with transportation and social activities - Manage daily operations and provide administrative support as needed - Demonstrate financial acumen and handle resident finances responsibly **Requirements:** - High school diploma or equivalent - Prior experience in assisted living, home care, or a related field - Strong understanding of resident rights and the importance of providing individualized care - Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Physical stamina to lift, transfer, and assist residents with mobility - Ability to manage and administer medications as needed - Basic knowledge of financial acumen and financial management - Familiarity with home community care and the importance of maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment We offer a supportive and dynamic work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
