Security Operations Architect

We are currently representing a fast-growing technology company that is actively expanding. Due to continued growth, they have created a new Security Operations Architect role. This is an excellent opportunity and a strong career step for a senior security professional ready to move into a true architect-level position.This high-impact role will focus on designing and executing security solutions that meaningfully reduce organizational and customer risk in a dynamic, multi-cloud environment.About the Role:You will architect security solutions for core applications and the SaaS platform, taking a pragmatic approach to building and maturing a comprehensive security program. The environment is evolving rapidly due to ongoing acquisitions, so adaptability across multiple security stacks is essential.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, integrate, maintain, and retire security products and platformsLead Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiativesRespond to malware incidents, network-based attacks, and conduct threat huntingMonitor events and alerts using SIEM and leverage SOAR for automated responsePerform incident response, digital forensics, and security analysisSecure CI/CD pipelines and deployment automationHarden server OS and cloud architectures across multiple public cloud providersDevelop performance metrics and research emerging malware trendsRequirements:5+ years designing technical security controls for Microsoft Windows, Entra ID, and M365 environments5+ years protecting production workloads in public clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP)2+ years of experience securing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automationProven technical leadership on security tool implementationsExperience with endpoint management (Windows, macOS, iOS – BYOD)Strong background in SIEM, intrusion detection, application security testing, and access control modelsWorking knowledge of SOC 2, NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks, incident response, and threat modelingExcellent project management, communication, and stakeholder skillsSelf-motivated with strong ownership and ability to deliver under tight deadlinesAdvanced certifications (CISM, CCSP, CISSP or equivalent) are a plusPosition Details:Type: 18-month contract with strong potential for conversion or extension for the right candidateStart: Mid-AprilWork Style: Primarily remote with occasional onsite (1-3 times per month)Compensation: Competitive contract rate (full details shared during initial call)Eligibility: U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders onlyInterview Process30 min with HR60 min with Hiring Manager60 min with the team (strong interest if you reach round 3)Why This Opportunity?
