Senior Practice Development Leader

RK&K is seeking a dynamic Senior Practice Development Leader to lead projects across all service areas in our Charleston, SC office. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to expand and enhance our full suite of engineering and construction management services while continuing to grow a high‑performing team to support existing and future clients. This individual will build upon our established portfolio in the low country, coastal South Carolina and the RK&K network.Essential FunctionsManage existing contracts and multidisciplinary project assignmentsMarket RK&K’s broad range of engineering and construction management services to both existing and new clientsRecruit, hire, train, and manage a diverse technical team across multiple service areasLead multidisciplinary project pursuitsCollaborate with other RK&K disciplines to deliver integrated, comprehensive solutionsWork with RK&K managers locally and firm‑wide to identify and capitalize on opportunities across multiple market sectorsRequired Skills And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or universityFifteen (15 )+ years of overall experience in engineering, infrastructure, or related fieldsFive (5) + years of experience leading multidisciplinary projects or service areasDemonstrated ability in project management with effective written and verbal communicationPreferred Skills And ExperienceMaster’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or universityProfessional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 monthsProven track record of leading complex engineering projects and managing large contractsEffective staff leadership, mentoring, and team development experienceExperience working with local agencies and townships on engineering and construction management projectsWhat We OfferRK&K offers excellent potential for career advancement and professional growth.
