Caregiver

Responsibilities: - Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting - Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders - Implement behavior management strategies to promote a safe and positive environment - Maintain a clean and organized living space for individuals - Collaborate with a team of caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of individuals - Follow all HIPAA regulations to protect the privacy and confidentiality of individuals Skills: - Experience or knowledge in social work or caregiving is preferred - Ability to lift and assist individuals with mobility limitations - Proficient in behavior management techniques - Understanding of assisted living principles and practices - Knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
