*Job Title:* Transcend Developer *Job Location:* Bethlehem, PA – This is an onsite job, need local candidates or who are willing to relocate *Job Duration: *Long-Term *Job Description:* * A self-starter senior developer who can transform conceptual thoughts into multiple possible approaches. * The person should be able to work with the Product Owner and business partners such as Accounting, Finance, Investment, Actuaries, and Operations to understand business requirements and develop Annuity products. *Candidate should have* * Over ten years of development experience in policy administration systems using the programming language Magic-XPA. * Over ten years of design and development of databases such as Oracle. * Must have programming experience with Unix shell scripts. * Working experience in Transcend system is preferred. * Working experience of development methodology such as Agile. * Open mindset for continuous improvement and to align with business initiatives. * Loma certification in Annuity is preferred. *Candidate will* * Work with business partners, business analysts, and product owner to design and build product. * Work with system administrators such as Database, Unix, Windows, Securities to ensure product design complies with Guardian standards. * Collaborate with support, release, and QA team to test and deploy code. * Collaborate with leaders to refine and estimate epics for business priority. * Server as a leader to reduce production defects by continuously enhancing process of development and testing.
