You'll play a vital role in diagnosing and managing sleep disorders, improving patient outcomes, and enhancing quality of life through evidence-based care.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive evaluations for patients with sleep-related disorders (e.g., insomnia, sleep apnea, narcolepsy, parasomnias)Interpret sleep studies (PSG, HSAT, MSLT, MWT) and provide actionable treatment plansCollaborate with primary care providers, pulmonologists, neurologists, and behavioral health specialistsPrescribe and manage CPAP/BiPAP therapy and other treatment modalitiesEducate patients and families on sleep hygiene and long-term care strategiesMaintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMRParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical case reviewsQualificationsMD or DO with board certification/eligibility in Sleep MedicineActive medical license in TexasStrong clinical judgment and diagnostic skillsExcellent communication and patient education abilitiesExperience with EMR systems and sleep study interpretation software
