Android Audio Engineer

NO C2C Candidates Please. This role is directly onsite with the client. Description 5+ years experience working on Android Audio user-space stack (Framework and Audio sub-system) 5+ years experience working on Linux kernel focusing on Audio drivers bring-up and debugging. 7+ years experience in embedded software development MS or higher is preferred. Android Automotive experience is preferred Requirements Strong Java/C/C++ knowledge Experience Audio HAL development Experience with Android Audio sub-system/framework and ALSA layers. Experience with media processing workflows and common media frameworks and technology: FFmpeg, GStreamer, AVFoundation, MediaCodec Familiarity with one or more Audio protocols: I2S, I2C, TDM, SPI Good understanding of decode/encode data pipeline Job Type: Contract Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
