The selected candidate will focus on pre-suit matters including investigation and case development, mediation, and arbitration. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and time management skills.Responsibilities:Assist in drafting responses to Demands for Arbitration and DiscoveryDraft responses to complaints and discoveryPrepare materials and documents for hearingsFile and service circuit court filingsDraft settlement agreements, signatures, and fund disbursementsTrack mediation outcomes, settlements, and tender of paymentsRequest documents from clientAssist in preparation of team snapshots for meetingsUpdate claims databasePrepare Response to Notices of ClaimsPrepare Work Authorization AgreementsRequest copies of inspections and estimatesPrepare claim for final hearingConsistently achieve billable hour expectation set by the firm (including approved non-billable time)Qualifications:High School or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program preferredMinimum of three (3) years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal requiredConstruction defects experience preferredTrial preparation experience preferredPrior experience billing time strongly preferred #LI-Hybrid
