We are very passionate about improving healthcare and saving lives across the country!Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Software Engineer skilled in C#, TypeScript and the .NET platform to design, build and maintain high-quality, scalable software. In this role you will own key components across backend services and front-end integrations, drive architecture and best practices, collaborate with product and clinical stakeholders, and mentor engineers. You will contribute to full-stack solutions that may operate in regulated healthcare environments and leverage modern AI and LLM-based capabilities when applicable.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement and maintain server-side applications and APIs using C# and .NET, focusing on performance, scalability and security.Develop and maintain front-end features and integrations using TypeScript and JavaScript (including React where applicable).Architect and deliver end-to-end solutions, including data access layers, business logic, and integration with SQL and other persistence technologies.Collaborate with product, design and clinical teams to translate requirements into technical designs and reliable deliverables.Implement secure development practices to protect PHI and support HIPAA compliance when working in healthcare contexts.Integrate AI capabilities such as LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agentic AI components into products, evaluating trade-offs and safety considerations.Own code quality through unit and integration tests, code reviews, pair programming, and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.Mentor and coach mid-level and junior engineers, set technical direction, and promote engineering best practices and documentation.Investigate and resolve production issues, perform capacity planning, and participate in on-call rotation as needed.Drive technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts and vendor selection for AI, data and platform components.QualificationsStrong professional experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem (Core/.NET 5+), including building APIs, services and libraries.Proficient in TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks; hands-on experience with React is a plus.5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of delivering production systems.Experience working with SQL databases and designing efficient data models and queries.Familiarity with healthcare domain concepts and regulatory requirements (HIPAA) is highly desirable.Experience integrating AI/ML tooling and LLMs into applications; knowledge of RAG patterns and agentic AI approaches is a plus.Solid understanding of secure coding practices, authentication/authorization patterns, and data privacy principles.Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and debugging production systems.Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate across disciplines, and experience mentoring other engineers.Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and microservices architectures is preferred.BenefitsMedicalDentalVision401k w/matchPTO Email Your Resume In Word ToMatt.Bailey@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
