About Our ClientThe organization operates within the insurance industry, addressing the challenge of efficient data exchange related to eligibility information between customers, third-party administrators, and internal processing areas. It facilitates the implementation and maintenance of inbound and outbound electronic data interchange (EDI) and API connections, ensuring accurate and timely data transmission.About the OpportunityThe Data Exchange Analyst role is responsible for supporting the business community in managing data exchange processes critical to eligibility information. This position plays a key role in resolving technical issues, testing data transmissions, and acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams. The role ensures smooth data operations that support the organization's service delivery and operational effectiveness.ResponsibilitiesAssist customers and third-party administrators with implementation, testing, and support of inbound data connections.Troubleshoot transmission and formatting issues for external customers and internal teams.Serve as liaison between business community and IT.Provide plan-specific data requirements based on internal systems and standard formats.Collaborate with vendors and plan holders to address non-standard data formats.Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding data connections.Conduct thorough user acceptance testing of inbound eligibility files.Deliver customer service tailored to communication preferences.Manage complex technical data support calls.Participate in training, mentoring, and networking activities.Maintain procedural guidelines and report system issues.Actively engage in team meetings.Assist team members to meet deadlines and customer expectations.RequirementsExperience with HIPAA data files.Proficient with text editing tools for EDI files and MS Excel.Ability to manipulate data files into various formats.Flexibility in managing multiple tasks and priorities under deadlines.Strong oral and written communication skills.Analytical skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Preferred: Experience in the insurance industry.Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.Pay Range and Compensation PackageSalary range: $49,260.00 - $73,890.00.Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, knowledge, and abilities.Eligibility for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.Equal Opportunity StatementOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
