Deceuninck North America is seeking an experienced Supervisor to support our Material Handlers and Recycling operations at the Monroe, Ohio facility.Our supervisors are empowered to provide guidance, support and mentorship to employees with the goal of achieving short and long-term business objectives to ensure growth and maximize performance.Shift: DaysWhat you will do:
Supervise daily PVC recycling operations including sorting, grinding, sifting, and pulverizing of scrap materials
Oversee all material handling activities including Extrusion supply and end product removal
Ensure proper inventory tracking and organization of raw and processed materials through ERP Warehouse Management Systems
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in material flow and recycling processes
Maintain production, inventory, and operational reports
Drive accountability for operational, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
Provide direction, leadership and mentorship to employees in the management of their assigned areas to ensure that business objectives and satisfactory performance are met.
Effectively participate in the process of employee selection, hiring and retention.
Own safety culture for team. Manage safety investigations and related corrective actions.
What you will bring:High School diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
3-5 years of experience in recycling, plastics processing, manufacturing and/or material handling operations.
Two to four years of frontline supervision experience. Manufacturing Supervisory experience preferred.
Experience working with computer systems to enter and track data.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma principles. Green/Black Belt preferred.
Proven ability to mentor and manage employees.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high sense of urgency.
