Pharmacy Technician Ocala, FL Three Month Temp Assignment TempExperts is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join an Ocala, FL team. *** This is a 3 month temp assignment for immediate placement. *** Responsibilities: Responsible for filling and preparing prescription orders in a timely manner. Accountable for 100% accuracy processing and filling prescription orders. Compounds medications as needed. Stock and monitor medication orders and delivery, ensuring popular medications are available. Coordinating medication deliveries with team. Obtains cover prescriptions for narcotics from prescribing physicians. Responsible for keeping the pharmacy clean. Accountable for checking expired drugs on a monthly basis. Respect and maintain confidentiality guidelines of HIPAA. Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures. Technicians will be required to assist with inventory when it is assigned. Perform routine, professional pharmacy functions including record keeping, filing charges, and answering phone lines. Responsible for other duties as assigned. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Registered Pharmacy Technician with the State of Florida. National Certification (CPhT) preferred but not required Experience: 1-2 years of pharmacy experience required. Skills: Ability to fill 40 prescriptions per hour. Attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once. Ability to work in a standing environment. Ability to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures and government regulations. Ability to apply fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions, to medication dosage. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Knowledge of medical terminology. Work independently with little supervision and meet daily deadlines.
