Predictive Systems Technician

Responsibilitiesarrow_rightAct as the de-facto owner of all predictive technology programs, including oil, vibration, acoustic imaging, and thermography. Coordinate calibration, upkeep, and proper usage of all diagnostic equipment. Define systems, trigger points, and escalation procedures forFunction as a subject matter expert for precision maintenance techniques, specifically machine vibration, precision alignments, and lubrication best practices.Develop and maintain equipment health dashboards and monthly reporting, integrating findings into QPDC CMMS, and supporting KPI tracking such as downtime and MTBF for individual assets.Support failure investigations, provide condition monitoring data for RCA's, identify repeat failure patterns and make recommendations for replacement or modifications.Work as a point of contact for third-party contractors and vendors to secure needed goods and services related to predictive systems, utilize SAP to create requisitions for new purchasesDevelop, improve, and sustain world-class level predictive and preventative maintenance strategies using the plant's CMMS and condition monitoring toolsSupport RCM/PMO efforts to optimize preventative maintenance strategies and identify opportunities to shift from time-based to condition-based maintenance.Work with the maintenance planner to ensure PdM tasks are added to downtime and maintenance schedules and follow up to ensure they are done as recommendedSupport spare parts strategy, critical spares identification, and storeroom optimization.Other duties as assigned.Qualificationsarrow_rightBachelors degree from an ABET accredited university preferred, associates required. 3+ years of industrial maintenance, reliability, or PdM experience. Strong understanding of rotating equipment, bearings, motors, and drivesProven experience implementing or governing CMMS systems.Outstanding oral and written communication and collaboration skills across disciplines and levels. Team player.Ability to work with diverse groups across departments and functions to solve challenges. Ability to interpret data and translate into actionable maintenance plans.Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles required, hydraulics, pneumatics, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, mechanical drives, calendars, and winders/slitters a plusProficient in Microsoft 365 applications with the ability to create reports, analyze data, and communicate effectively using Outlook, Teams, Word, PPT, and Excel
