Job Description WelderShift: 2nd- Monday - Friday 2:30 p.m. - 10:45 p.m. Pay Rate: $17.75SummaryThe Welder is responsible for operating semi-automatic robotic and 3-axis torch control MIG welders to build assemblies according to company specifications and customer expectations for quality and productivity.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate semi-automatic robotic and 3-axis torch control MIG welders.Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all safety policies.Inspect products for weld defects (e.g., undercut, porosity, cracks).Measure product symmetry, adjust fixtures, and assemble work pieces.Identify, install, and select recipes for the correct fixture per part number.Identify and escalate discrepant materials/components to leadership.Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules.Qualifications & ExperienceDemonstrated ability to identify incomplete weld penetrations and lack of fusion.Stable work history, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.Knowledge of basic math, including working with decimals, and strong mechanical aptitude.Experience using basic hand tools, measuring devices (like calipers), and reading drawings to verify product requirements.Logical problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning and meeting customer requirements.Company DescriptionPrideStaff works with local companies to identify the top jobs for its employees.Company DescriptionPrideStaff works with local companies to identify the top jobs for its employees.
