Primary Therapist (Forney)

As the Primary Therapist, you'll be at the heart of BasePoint Academy's mission to enhance overall health and wellness for our clients and the community. Your role is to enhance well-being and the quality of life by offering top-notch, professional mental health and substance abuse counseling to teenagers, within groups and family sessions. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Crafting personalized treatment plans for each teen and executing the most suitable interventions while actively engaging in an interdisciplinary treatment team environment. Delivering individual, group, and family therapy sessions in strict adherence to state regulations and professional licensure law(s). Skillfully managing patient schedules to ensure all clinical needs are met promptly. Collaborating with the referring physician/professional and other relevant treatment providers to ensure the highest level of care. Actively participating in consultations or supervision sessions as required by licensure law(s). Performing other duties within the scope of your license to support BasePoint Academy's initiatives. Providing crisis intervention services when needed to ensure proper risk management and, when appropriate, referral to a higher level of care. Qualifications We're Looking For: A master's degree in social work or an equivalent master's degree in a mental health field, coupled with current TX licensure as an LCSW, LMSW, LPC, or LPC-A. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Comfort with PC usage and electronic charting, with experience in KIPU being a plus.
