CERIS Ops Manager
The CERIS Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the department including Personnel Hiring, Quality Assurance of Product, Workflow, Maintaining the tracking of and accountability of staff regarding production standards and department expectations. Works collaboratively with other department managers to achieve departmental requirements and goals.This is a remote position.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesEnsures timely and accurate communication of information, in written and electronic forms, that are directed to internal company contacts, clients and providersDirects a designated group of employees in their day-to-day operationsMonitors employee and unit quality controlEnsures daily compliance with metricsTracking and reporting of department metrics to Director of Operations on a monthly basis or as requiredHandles scheduling and monitoring of staff’s attendanceEnsures timely distribution of claims to designated staff to meet Client SLA’sResponsible for human resources matters directly related to department supervised; i.e. Interviewing, Hiring, Training and addressing personnel issuesResponsible for ensuring evaluations are completely on timeMay be required to travel overnight and attend meetingsMay perform daily, weekly, monthly reviews of various reports, invoices, logs and expensesAdditional duties as assignedKnowledge & SkillsAbility to identify, analyze and solve problemsAbility to work on several concurrent tasks and prioritize workload with minimal directionEffective verbal and written communication skillsDetail Oriented Ability to work independently and within a team environmentAbility to work in a fast paced/production based environmentProficient in Microsoft Office, mainly Outlook, Excel, WordEducation & ExperienceAssociates degree, national certification or equivalentMinimum 5 years' office experiencePrevious Supervisory experience preferredPay RangeCorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
