The City Engineer will oversee municipal engineering projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Key responsibilities include designing, planning, and managing public works projects such as roads, utilities, and infrastructure developments. The City Engineer will also prepare and review engineering plans, collaborate with contractors and stakeholders, and provide technical guidance to meet project deadlines and standards. Qualifications Proficiency in Civil Engineering principles, municipal infrastructure design, and project managementExperience with AutoCAD, GIS systems, and other relevant engineering softwareStrong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct feasibility analysesFamiliarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to public works and constructionEffective communication, leadership, and teamwork abilitiesRegistration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is requiredBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is requiredPrevious experience in public sector engineering or municipal projects is highly desirable
