Identity and Access Management (IAM) Business AnalystPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Business Analyst to support enterprise IAM initiatives across authentication, authorization, identity governance, and privileged access management. This role bridges business, security, and technology teams to ensure IAM processes, controls, and platforms align with organizational security objectives and compliance requirements.The ideal candidate has strong experience documenting IAM environments, gathering technical and business requirements, supporting audits, and enabling application onboarding to centralized IAM platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesIAM Program & Security SupportSupport enterprise-wide IAM initiatives, including identity governance, authentication, authorization, and privileged accessDiscover, assess, and document the IAM landscape, including tools, platforms, workflows, and identity postureAssist in documenting and supporting security risk assessments, IT policy reviews, and audit activitiesMaintain and support IAM security best practices, policies, and procedures Requirements Analysis & DocumentationReview, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user access needsIdentify gaps, missed requirements, and process inefficienciesDevelop clear and comprehensive:Business requirementsTechnical requirementsProcess flowsPersonas and use casesCreate and maintain documentation such as:Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Work Instructions (WIs)Knowledge base articlesUser training materials IAM Process Design & Implementation SupportCoordinate with business and technical partners on the design, build, and testing of IAM process enhancementsSupport application onboarding to centralized IAM platformsHelp define and orchestrate adoption processes for identity and access technologiesAlign requirements and traceability with implementation partners and delivery teams Collaboration & Project SupportAttend project meetings and follow up on action items in alignment with project managersWork closely with product owners, technical leads, developers, and security teamsAssist in communication development related to IAM initiatives and changesAct as a liaison between business stakeholders and execution teams Reporting, Metrics & InsightsProvide analysis of key business drivers, security metrics, and IAM performance indicatorsUtilize analytics and visualization tools to support reporting and decision-makingSupport leadership with insights into IAM risks, adoption, and effectiveness Required QualificationsCore ExperienceProven experience as a Business Analyst supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiativesStrong understanding of:Authentication and authorization conceptsPrivileged access managementIdentity governance and lifecycle processesExperience gathering and documenting technical and business requirements for security or IAM platforms Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical, documentation, and process-mapping skillsExperience supporting audits, compliance, and security policy documentationAbility to translate business needs into clear technical requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable collaborating across Security, IT, and Business teams Ideal Candidate ProfileDetail-oriented analyst with strong ownership of IAM deliverablesComfortable working across organizational boundaries and with external partnersStrong communicator who can clearly explain IAM concepts to non-technical audiencesProactive problem solver with a structured, methodical approachAdaptable professional who thrives in complex, security-focused environmentsDexian stands at the forefront of Talent + Technology solutions with a presence spanning more than 70 locations worldwide and a team exceeding 10,000 professionals.
