Packaging (Shipping & Receiving)

Compensation: $18/hr. and above Depending on Experience Complete Benefit Package: Health (HSA Option Available) Dental Vision PTO / Paid Vacation 401(K) Plan Upon Eligibility Company Paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability Eligibility for additional: Short/Long-Term Disability, Accidental, Life Insurance, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity Coverages Company Paid Holidays Tuition Reimbursement Required Skills/Knowledge: Evaluation of incoming jobs and processing routine and non-routine jobs – Following step-by-step instructions as determined by C&A Clients Pull certifications/data/inspection forms per customer requirements Routine cycle counts Transfer components interdepartmentally and within the different buildings and driving to vendor locations if needed – Current Divers License Verify all necessary documentation Previous Shipping experience, i.e. Fed Ex Use of hand tools (box cutters, band cutters, automated palletizing machines) Communicate and work well in a team environment and various departments May need to drive a Forklift when necessary Attention to detail is a priority to be successful in this role Shift: 7:00 – 3:15 / M-F / Overtime as needed Additional Skills/Knowledge Preferred: Basic Math Computer Skills (MS Office) ERP (Epicor) Experience Gauge parts as instructed (if applicable) Previous work using Micrometers and Calipers Heat Sealing Devices Blueprint Reading Detail Orientated Ability to Multitask HS Diploma or Equivalent Physical Requirements: Able to stand at times entire Shift (depending on job), lift up to 50# unassisted, climb stairs to obtain materials for Packing and help co-workers move product around for Shipping The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
