Come join us and be part of something truly special.THE DIFFERENCE YOU WILL MAKEThe temporary Cleveland Warehouse Associate reports directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for various tasks involved in the storage, organization, and distribution of goods within a warehouse setting. This role typically involves receiving, unpacking, labeling, storing, and picking items according to orders. Warehouse associates may also be involved in inventory management, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and occasionally operating machinery such as forklifts or pallet jacks.Core Functions Of This RoleOperate forklift, pallet jack, reach truck to pull and prepare outbound customer ordersBuild, wrap, sort, pick, pack, and stage customer ordersLoad outbound delivery trucks and will callsConsolidate product to maximize space utilizationRepackage and/or relabel products due to damages/vendor errors and returnsStock received merchandise and/or movement of stock itemsClean the workspace as you for and participate with the team in keeping the facility clean, safe and accident-free.Answer phone calls and follow-up on orders, shortages and/or mistakes.Follow all Millcraft policies, procedures, and guidelines as outlined in the employee handbook and departmental SOPsEnsure a safe working environment by strictly following all safety protocols and standards including reporting unsafe conditions, near-misses and incidents immediately to your managerDemonstrate the Millcraft Core Values (Family, Responsible, Passion, Deliver, Aspire and FUN) in day-to-day work and interactionsOther duties as needed for the business.What You’ll Need To SucceedExcellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skillsAttention to detail, organization and project management skillsExcellent customer service skillsProven ability to read and interpret printed orders and directionDemonstrated record of safety and quality controlDemonstrated ability to work well independently and as a member of a teamRegularly exhibits a strong work ethic and high degree of self-motivationPerform duties under minimal directionHigh sense of urgency and be able to multi-task competing prioritiesExcellent attendance record.Must have proficient math skillsMust be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background CheckEnsure compliance with safety and company procedures and actively embody our core values in every interaction and responsibility.High School Diploma or GED EquivalentMinimum 1+ years’ warehouse experience, preferably in shipping and receivingMinimum 1+ years’ experience with ForkliftsMinimum 1+ years’ experience with Pallet JacksMinimum 1+ years’ experience with Reach TrucksWhat Winning Looks LikeThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
