SharePoint Consultant

A great UHY client is seeking a SharePoint Consultant to support a high-impact intranet and SharePoint optimization project. This role will focus on reorganizing and improving the company’s North American SharePoint environment, creating a more user-friendly and consistent experience across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong SharePoint expertise along with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and support content management initiatives.The SharePoint Consultant role is a contract position expected to last approximately 3–6 months. This is a hybrid opportunity based in East Lansing, MI, requiring approximately four days per week onsite (five days per week onsite during the initial onboarding and project ramp-up period).SharePoint Consultant ResponsibilitiesReview, reorganize, and optimize the North American SharePoint intranet environmentIdentify and repair broken links, outdated content, and inconsistent formatting across SharePoint sitesConsolidate and standardize SharePoint content and navigation structuresPartner with internal site owners to organize and transition ownership of departmental pagesTrain internal users on maintaining and managing SharePoint content after project completionSupport light administrative projects, including PowerPoint presentations and memo/document preparationAssist with improving overall usability and accessibility of the SharePoint environmentSharePoint Consultant RequirementsStrong SharePoint experience, including site organization and content managementExperience improving or redesigning SharePoint environments and intranet structuresStrong PowerPoint and Excel skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments and stakeholdersStrong communication, organizational, and training abilitiesPortfolio or examples of prior SharePoint projects preferredExperience with user training and documentation is a plusUHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group provides clients with accomplished professionals to support finance, accounting, internal audit and tax teams.
