The successful candidate will bring strong hands-on development skills, a solid understanding of ITSM and the ServiceNow platform, and the ability to contribute effectively across the full application lifecycle.Required Experience & Qualifications5+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow/ESM platform, including at least 2 years of Federal experience.At least 3 years of experience delivering services of similar scope, size, and complexityStrong hands-on experience with core ITSM modules, including: Incident ManagementProblem ManagementChange ManagementRequest ManagementKnowledge ManagementProficiency in ServiceNow development using JavaScript, GlideRecord, GlideAjax, and ServiceNow APIs.Hands-on experience developing and maintaining Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and Data Policies.Working knowledge of CMDB and CSDM, including the role these capabilities play in maintaining accurate configuration and service working with modern ServiceNow user-experience technologies, including one or more of Service Portal, UI Builder, Workspaces, and Employee Center.Experience managing the ServiceNow development lifecycle, including Update Sets, source control, deployments, testing, and platform upgrades.Experience with ServiceNow data-management capabilities, including Import Sets, Transform Maps, scheduled jobs, and data to develop and maintain solutions that meet established requirements for security, performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.Core SkillsetsITSMCMDB/CSDMServiceNow integrationsFlow Designer and IntegrationHubUI Builder and WorkspacesServiceNow platform securityPerformance optimizationServiceNow development, configuration, testing, deployment, and upgrade practicesCertificationsServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - required.ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - required for applicable domains, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and HAM/SAM, based on the candidate's assigned responsibilities.Equivalent certifications or qualifications may be considered where they demonstrate comparable ServiceNow expertise.The ideal candidate will be comfortable working hands-on within the ServiceNow platform while following established development, security, testing, deployment, and governance standards and contributing to solutions comparable in scope, size, and complexity.Compensation: The expected compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $140,000 annually. Compensation is determined in good faith and may vary based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, clearance level, labor category alignment, contract requirements, work location, internal equity, and business needs.
