Light Equipment Operator II
Audubon is currently seeking a Light Equipment Operator II to join our team in our Off Site Office. The Light Equipment Operator II will perform the movement of Earth and debris for a jobsite via the usage of light equipment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Must have experience and knowledge of operating varies construction light equipment including but not limited to bobcats, bulldozers, excavators, front-end loaders, backhoes, rollers, RT forklift, and graders.
Must have basic mechanical knowledge and illustrate the abilities to inspect equipment.
Must have knowledge of and be familiar with soil types.
Must illustrate knowledge of excavating and the specifications that are required for a given excavation.
Must be able to follow instructions correctly.
Must be reliable, accountable, and consistent in performing administrative processes such as but not limited to equipment inspection paperwork.
Must be willing and able to follow all instructed safety regulations.
Must be able to make it work on time and work the designated schedule and any overtime as needed with the proper notification.
Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:

Participating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activities

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
Related trade school education is preferred.
Three years' experience in the construction industry.
Three years' experience as an equipment operator.
Must have or be able to obtain OSHA Construction Basic Plus Safety Training Card.
Civil construction and quality assurance practices and procedures.
Construction safety practices.
Proven experience as civil construction carpenter.
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and HSE guidelines.
Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to communicate and report effectively.
Aptitude in math and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently when required.
Ability to motivate, lead, teach and train on proper work and safety procedures.
Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgment, and solve problems.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing. Individuals must have a valid driver's license and driving record that meets Company requirements.
