This role works under close supervision to assist with technical analyses, fieldwork, and documentation.ResponsibilitiesAssist with environmental site assessments, permitting, and compliance tasks Perform field environmental sampling (soil, groundwater, surface water, air) and data collection Support preparation of technical work plans and reports, permit applications, and environmental documentationConduct basic engineering calculations and analyses Coordinate with internal teams (environmental, civil, geotechnical, construction) Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and safety standards Maintain accurate field notes and project records Other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related engineering field 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships included) Basic understanding of federal/state environmental regulations Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred QualificationsEIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification or ability to obtain Familiarity with GIS, AutoCAD, or environmental modeling tools Fieldwork experience Travel RequirementsThis position requires travel (20% - 50%) as part of its primary responsibilities.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentCombination of office and fieldwork Ability to travel to project sites and perform outdoor work in varying conditions EEO StatementUES is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is proud to recruit the most qualified candidates.
