AI Development & Agent Ops —  Principal Software Engineer

Overview As Principal Software Engineer in AI Development & Agent Ops, you design and scale services and platforms that enable thousands of engineers to build with AI agents. You will partner with leadership to shape the enterprise AI SDLC and drive architecture at scale. You’ll tackle high-impact engineering challenges, from harness orchestration to governance and developer tooling, delivering fast, reliable AI-enabled development. This is a mission-driven, high-impact role that shapes future workflows and enterprise software delivery. ResponsibilitiesEngineer and operate the agentic harness with CI/CD integrations, quality gates, orchestration, and MCP integrations for end-to-end agent workflowsDevelop and manage the agent lifecycle framework, including versioning, testing, validation, compliance, deployment, and release within the enterprise registryBuild and maintain shared services, reusable frameworks, tooling, and cross-platform integrations to accelerate adoption and consistencyDefine and maintain technical standards for knowledge base content, metadata, and accessibility for high-quality inputs to agentic systemsDrive engineering best practices across the agentic ecosystem, focusing on automation, testing, observability, reliability, and platform performanceCollaborate with product, architecture, security, and engineering teams on AI-enabled SDLC transformation Key requirements8+ years in a software engineering roleStrong hands-on experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and developer tooling; operating in AI/agentic development landscapeAbility to restructure ambiguous problems into tangible outputs (analyses, prototypes, specifications)Experience cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, security, and infra stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal communication translating complexity for technical and non-technical audiencescommunicationcross-functional collaborationability to operate in ambiguityagentic development tools and platforms (e.g., Windsurf/Codeium, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor)MCP ecosystems and AI governance at enterprise scaleenterprise-scale release governance and compliance requirements
