Manager, Technical Learning
Overview:
In this role you will shape the HVAC Equipment Training strategy and lead a team of technical learning professionals to deliver high-impact training for customers and channel partners. You will translate complex technical content into practical learning experiences and align programs with product roadmaps and business needs. You'll drive continuous improvement through data, metrics, and stakeholder collaboration. Responsibilities:
- Lead the HVAC Equipment Training portfolio and set priorities aligned with product roadmaps and customer needs
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of technical learning professionals
- Own portfolio financials and usability metrics to guide improvements
- Collaborate with business, product, and channel stakeholders to translate requirements into learning solutions
- Ensure high-quality learning experiences across instructor-led, virtual, online, hands-on, and blended modalities
- Coordinate instructor capacity, labs, and resources to meet priorities and demand
- Maintain alignment between training programs, product changes, and customer/partner needs
- Use feedback and outcomes to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
- Seek simplification and standardization of training processes across the portfolio
- Communicate portfolio performance and resource needs to leadership
Key requirements:
- 5+ years in Learning & Development, technical training, customer education, enablement, program management, or related field
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing others
- Experience managing multiple programs or a portfolio with competing priorities
- Strong business acumen with data-driven decision ability
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills
