Quality Auditor

Quality Auditor Reports to: Quality Manager Monitors the quality of raw materials and finished goods, confirming conformance to specifications and the quality plan. Identifies substandard product, discusses issues with operators/supervision, confirms correction & ensures generated nonconforming product is segregated from acceptable product. Perform quality inspections/tests to required specifications in order to meet or exceed Primex's and the Customers Expectations. Work Expectations: Full-time, 40 hours/week some overtime required, in a hot work environment, receiving two paid 10-minute breaks and one paid 20-minute lunch. Skill Requirements: Possess a good working knowledge of company quality standards. A self-starter, highly motivated individual with good written and oral communication skills and must be fluent in English. Basic knowledge in math, fractions, percentage, decimals. Must be proficient in using a tape measure & micrometer. A working knowledge of SPC and capability studies. Safety & Quality Requirements: Follow all safety and conduct rules at all times; always wearing the required PPE for the job. Keep work and surrounding areas clean and free of debris at all times.
