Key Account Manager, Prestige
The Opportunity: The Key Account Manager (KAM) for Puig US will be responsible for driving growth and managing the strategic relationship with Ulta Beauty within the specialty retail channel, with a focus on the Prestige brand portfolio. This individual will play a critical role in developing and executing account strategies to maximize brand visibility, sales, and profitability, while ensuring strong alignment with retailer priorities. Reporting directly to the Key Account Director, the KAM will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of Prestige brand initiatives and support broader channel strategies. This role will oversee key Prestige brands (e.g., Carolina Herrera, Rabanne, Jean Paul Gaultier, and others as applicable), driving performance across Ulta’s omnichannel ecosystem.What You’ll Get to Do: Serve as the primary contact for Ulta Beauty, building and maintaining strong relationships to drive brand performanceDevelop and execute tailored business strategies to achieve sales and brand goals, including joint business planningMaintain a deep understanding of Ulta’s dynamics, competitive landscape, and consumer trends to optimize performanceLead event planning, including field team coordination and executionDrive top-line sales growth and profitability by aligning Puig’s Prestige brand objectives with Ulta’s strategiesDefine how we work with cross-functional teams and clearly establish our role within that collaborationLead execution of key initiatives across launches, promotions, and exclusives within Ulta’s omnichannel environment (stores + e-commerce)Analyze and interpret sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth within the accountCollaborate with the Key Account Director to develop annual sales forecasts, setting clear objectives and KPIsWork closely with internal teams including marketing, e-retail, demand planning, visual merchandising, and finance to ensure effective execution of activations and product launchesSupport assortment planning, POG (planogram), and secondary placementsCommunicate retailer needs and feedback to internal teams to ensure alignment with broader commercial strategyEnsure strong in-store presence and brand visibility through partnership with merchandising and field teamsManage POS allocations and overall planningSupport negotiations with Ulta merchants on pricing, promotions, assortment, and product placementsMonitor and report on sales performance, key metrics, and initiativesWe’d Love to Meet You If You Have:Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)5+ years of experience in Sales, Planning, or Key Account Management within beauty, luxury, or consumer retailProficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPsExperience managing Ulta Beauty or similar specialty retail accounts strongly preferredProven track record working with Prestige beauty brandsStrong understanding of omnichannel retail, including in-store and e-commerce dynamicsExceptional relationship-building and communication skillsAnalytical mindset with proficiency in interpreting sales data and performance metricsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentCompensation: As required by New York State’s salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000.00- $115,000.00 Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
