Our menu features crowd favorites like chicken over rice, falafel over rice, gyros, shawarma, and other Mediterranean‑inspired comfort foods. Position Overview We are looking for a hands‑on, reliable Chef who can help us build our kitchen from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a small team, takes pride in their craft, and is excited to grow with a new restaurant. You will be responsible for daily food preparation, cooking, maintaining quality standards, and helping shape our kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook Mediterranean fusion dishes, including proteins, rice platters, falafel, salads, and sauces. Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation. Assist in developing and refining recipes as the restaurant grows. Handle daily prep work and ensure ingredients are fresh and ready for service. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Work efficiently during busy hours in a small‑team setting. Support management in improving kitchen processes and menu offerings. Qualifications Experience as a Chef, Cook, or Kitchen Lead (Mediterranean or Middle Eastern cuisine is a strong plus). Comfortable working in a small, fast‑paced kitchen. Strong understanding of spices, marinades, grilling, and Mediterranean flavors. Ability to multitask and maintain quality under pressure. Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude. Knowledge of food safety standards. Willingness to grow with the restaurant and take on additional responsibilities as needed. What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience.
