Residential Manager- Live In

Job Overview King's Home, a Christ- centered ministry, is seeking to hire a Residential Manager (Live-In) for our Transitional Living Program in Hayden, Alabama. The Residential Manager serves as the on-site leader of the Transitional living home, responsible for daily operations, staff supervision, program implementation, and oversight of resident care. The youth we serve have been removed from their biological families due to abuse and or neglect. King’s Home provides comprehensive counseling services for individuals and families, including equine therapy, art classes and farm and garden experiences to help the youth heal from traumatic events. This role works primarily Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm and is required to reside in the home Sunday evening through Friday at 3:00pm. The manager may reside in the home full-time if desired. While regular hours are daytime, this position requires availability for crisis response, emergencies, and overnight support as needed. Due to the nature of this position, other forms of employment are not permitted. Applicants must be at least 23 years old, have a clear criminal background and a clean driving record. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily residential operations and youth care Supervise and schedule residential staff Maintain compliance with DHR and COA standards Respond to emergencies and behavioral crises Oversee treatment plans and independent living goals Monitor documentation, medication administration, and reporting Serve as a spiritual mentor and role model Qualifications Required: High School Diploma Residential or youth services experience Valid Alabama Driver’s License Background, drug, and TB screening CPR, First Aid, CPI certification (within 14 days) Letter of recommendation from Pastor Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree Supervisory/management experience Experience with at-risk youth or trauma-informed care Our benefit package includes Blue Cross and Blue Shield health and dental insurance (paid entirely for the family by the ministry), generous earned vacation and personal time, short/long term disability paid for by the ministry, SIMPLE IRA for retirement after one year of employment, paid housing, utilities, internet, and cable.
