Certified Athletic Trainer / Orthopaedic Technologist (ATC/OTC Preferred)

This role supports both clinic and procedural care, helping active patients move confidently from injury through recovery.What you'll doPartner closely with Sports Medicine physicians during clinic visits and daily patient carePerform patient intake, gather histories, and assist with musculoskeletal assessmentsApply braces, splints, casts, and orthopedic devices as directedGuide patients through exercise instruction, rehabilitation techniques, and injury prevention strategiesAssist with in-office procedures and support efficient clinic flowCoordinate imaging, referrals, and follow-up care needsAssist in surgery as first or second assist based on certification, skill set, and physician needDocument patient care accurately and maintain organized clinical communicationRequirementsWhat you'll bringCertification as an Athletic Trainer requiredOTC credential required or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframeCurrent Missouri licensure in good standingOrthopaedic or Sports Medicine experience preferredStrong communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced physician practicePositive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to jump in where neededA collaborative mindset and commitment to supporting a strong team cultureWhat makes someone successful hereEngaged, dependable, and proactive in daily workComfortable building strong relationships with physicians, staff, and patientsAble to balance clinical detail with efficiencyInvested in contributing to a positive workplace culture and organizational goalsSchedule & locationFull-time positionMonday through Friday, daytime clinic hoursFlexibility for surgical scheduling and occasional early starts as needed
