Natureplex is a privately held pharmaceutical manufacturer of over-the-counter medicines and electrolytes. Our company was established in 2001. We offer our own control brand as well as private label and contract packaging. With two locations in Memphis TN and Olive Branch MS, we are rapidly expanding and have exciting opportunities for career advancement. Currently, we are seeking a Quality Control Apprentice for our Olive Branch, MS.
This is an apprentice to hire position. After 90 days it will be accessed to see if the candidate will be offered a full time position. Position will be offered based on performance and growth skills during the apprentice period.

Requirements:
Summary
Works in the quality control department and gain practical knowledge in various laboratory techniques and instrumentation following USP monographs or in-house developed methods testing active ingredients in finished goods.
Essential Functions
Apprentice will be trained on and utilize all necessary measurement and test equipment required to carry out laboratory operations to meet defined goals and specifications but expected to be experienced with basic sample/standard/reagent preparation, basic statistical analysis of data, theory of the instrumentation listed, and basic manual titrations.
Apprentice will also work on method development, validation, and implementation of new analytical methods and techniques and will be actively involved in improvement of current methods.
Apprentice will be presented with the opportunities to learn basic formulation chemistry such as creating OTC pharmaceutical topical products when improving current blends in production or during development of new formulations.

Expected Hours of Work
Monday – Friday, 20 hours per week
Required Education and Experience
Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University majoring in Chemistry or a similar discipline with strong analytical/instrumental chemistry interests. Position is also open to new chemists within the first year after graduation with a bachelor's degree or greater in Chemistry from an accredited College or University.
Senior level candidates or first year graduates (graduation dates between May 2023 to May 2025_ Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University majoring in Chemistry or a similar discipline with strong analytical/instrumental chemistry interests. Position is also open to new chemists within the first year after graduation with a bachelor's degree or greater in Chemistry from an accredited College or University. This is an apprentice to hire position meaning after the introductory period of 90 days a permanent position may be offered based on performance and growth of skills during the apprentice period
Seeking rising senior level candidates or first year graduates (any graduation date between May 2023 to May 2025).
