Planner/Scheduler

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Planner/Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating production workflow, ensuring that materials are available for production, and optimizing manufacturing processes. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels. - Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of materials for production. - Utilize systems such as MRP (Material Requirements Planning) to plan and schedule production activities. - Implement Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste. - Collaborate with the supply chain team to vaticinate future material needs and prevent shortages. - Monitor and adjust production schedules to meet changing demand and unforeseen issues. - Analyze data to forecast future production requirements accurately. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. - Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or related role. - Strong knowledge of MRP systems and forecasting techniques. - Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles. - Ability to fabricate detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Job Type: Contract Pay: $26.58 - $32.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: Construction: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
