Job DescriptionGuggenheim SecuritiesPosition SummaryGuggenheim is seeking a proactive Administrative Assistant to support its Investment Banking team in Los Angeles. Reporting to the Director of Investment Banking Administration, this person will help to support executives in all administrative functions to increase the time they dedicate to leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate must exercise excellent judgment, have exceptional communication skills, demonstrate strong customer service and professionalism, and handle numerous projects and a heavy workflow with a high level of accuracy. The successful candidate will have experience supporting junior level executives and be comfortable interacting with other high-level members of the team and external clients in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.The Administrative Assistant position is in Los Angeles.Essential Job FunctionsAssist with clerical, administrative and all business detailsAssist with incoming calls and direct to appropriate partiesAssist in managing complex calendars across different time zonesAssist in internal and external meetings and conference presentations including catering ordering/set-up & cleanupAssist in managing travel arrangements and preparing itinerariesProcess heavy volume of expense reportsPerform other related duties as assigned or requestedPreferred QualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and ExcelKnowledge of Workday preferred but will trainStrong interpersonal, organizational, communication and problem-solving skillsStrict attention to detail with ability to prioritize issues appropriatelyDetail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentHands-on and willing to roll up sleeves to perform all responsibilities needed to ensure successBasic QualificationsUndergraduate degree in Business or a related field3-5 years related administrative experience preferredWork Location4 days in office, 1 day remoteAbout UsGuggenheim Securities is the investment banking and capital markets business of Guggenheim Partners, a global investment and advisory firm.
