Facilities Pipefitter - Crew Leader

Job Description Seeking a pipefitter for our facility department. This candidate will oversee the daily maintenance and repairs on various machinery, including pumps, diesel generators, boilers, air compressors, dryer systems, and vehicles. This applicant will be responsible for ensuring that the functionality and reliability of the mechanical systems in the facility are properly maintained along with maintaining certifications, licensing, local and state regulatory reports and, permits.Required Education, Experience, & SkillsHave the ability and understanding to build and/or assemble machines, pumps, and mechanical components according to manufacturer's specifications.Oversee all repairs aiming toward maximum reliable of machinery.Troubleshoot reported issues and arrange to have the necessary repairs completed in a timely manner.Maintain a spare parts inventory to eliminate down time.Preferred Education, Experience, & SkillsHigh School, GEDExcellent communication skillsAbility to troubleshoot and solve problems with various machinery and their components.A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines/ policiesExcellent knowledge of machinery, boilers and hydraulic systems and their componentsPay InformationThis position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.Employee Benefits: At BAE Systems, we support our employees in all aspects of their life including health and financial well-being.
