FLSA Classification: Part Time, Hybrid (Mostly On-site 75/25%), hourly, non-exempt
Salary Range: $20-24 per hour
Job Summary:

We are seeking an IT Technician who will provide support for staff, as well as provide first-level support for exhibit AV and computer systems at a new state-of-the-art, Platinum LEED-certified museum building in Sacramento. This work will include responding to IT requests, providing solutions or escalating to and coordinating with 3rd party service providers, as appropriate.
This position will work closely with the Director of Operations to perform a wide array of duties required for the general operation of MOSAC’s IT Infrastructure. Duties include but not limited to User Support, IT Service Management and Asset Management.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide Helpdesk support to end users.
· Prepare computers and/or mobile devices for new employees.
· Perform maintenance at the desktop level, including hardware repairs, delivery of peripherals, or other installations or fixes.
· Provide solutions or perform repairs that do not require a specialized provider.
· Handle IT requests and incident reports based on priority, and which may be within scope.
· Serve as MOSAC’s Point of Contact when seeking solutions from 3rd Party Support.
· Report and coordinate support cases with 3rd parties (hardware/software/service provider).
· Collect the required information to escalate to 3rd party support, as needed, and help in troubleshooting.
· Assist remote 3rd-party exhibit support service provider and provide local hands and feet support for the exhibit hardware and AV systems.
· Support museum events and meetings, assure the systems are operational prior to the event, and provide expert help during the event as needed.
Required Skills and Abilities:
· End user IT Help Desk support experience
· Superior knowledge in Windows and Office 365 administration
· Experience working with Azure Active Directory
· Experience with Microsoft InTune a plus
· Experience with communication and collaboration systems (Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint)
· Basic network technology and security knowledge (WAN, LAN, WLAN)
· Basic Windows Server administration knowledge
· Superior communication and social skills
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
Education and Experience:
· 2 years related experience required
· University degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
· Job requires frequent bending, kneeling, reaching and standing.
· Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
