Shifts Available: Full-time, 8 Hour Shifts (2nd and 3rd) The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining machinery to produce high-quality products. This role involves setting up machines, loading materials, performing routine inspections, and ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. The Machine Operator plays a crucial role in meeting production targets while adhering to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Setting up, operating, troubleshooting and maintaining various types of molding machinery, including Sand Blasters, Paint Booths, Rubber Extruders, Presses and Autoclaves. Conducting routine inspection and monitoring output of finished product using measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers. Adhering to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Maintaining accurate records of production progress, machine settings and performance and quality concerns. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine performance, reduce waste, and increase efficiency. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment; experience with rubber products and molding equipment preferred. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Knowledge of machining techniques, materials, and tooling. Expertise in using precision measuring instruments and quality control methods. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
