Shear Operator - 1st shift

Shear Operator : Pay Rate: $16.50 1st shift 7 am - 3:30 pm We're looking for a dependable Shear Operator to set up and operate mechanical presses, accurately cutting materials in accordance with production requirements. What You'll Do: • Operate mechanical presses in a safe, positive environment • Inspect, identify, and cut materials to specification • Prioritize multiple jobs and keep production flowing • Follow written work instructions and quality expectations • Use calipers, tape measures, and other measuring tools • Perform basic shop math with tolerances (+/- .005) • Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly • Obtain and maintain forklift certification • Adhere to ISO and OSHA safety standards • Perform additional tasks as needed com019 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
