Senior Program Analyst
Job Description: Provide Program Analyst support to the Federal Aviation Administration related to space operations, air traffic control, and systems in support of FAA aviation initiatives including concept exploration and development.Work LocationOn-site at the FAA's Air Traffic Control System Command Center in Warrenton, VirginiaResponsibilitiesDuties include, but are not limited to:Provides on-site and virtual support to the FAA teamProvides recommendations, resolutions, and updates to office records, databases, and files for assigned programsDevelops and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and integrated program schedules for program activitiesPrepares reports, documentation, briefings, monthly status reports, and cost and price analysis reportsPrepares various ad-hoc analyses and reports and compiles information for management review and decision-makingDrafts, proofreads, edits, and coordinates correspondenceAssists in planning, scheduling, organizing, and execution of meetings, events, conferences, off-sites, and reserving related conference roomsPerforms administrative back up support for other officesManages daily calendars for multiple executives, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving abilities to adjust or prioritize schedules based on last-minute changesDrives key team activities and events (e.g., all-hands meeting, team meetings, conferences, ordering supplies, social events)Prepares professional business communication documents including memos, letters, and emailsDrafts documents (e.g., instructions, spreadsheets, presentations, reports)Develops and prepares executive level briefing packages, brochures, hand-outs, and other information materials in various mediumsQualificationsQualified applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearanceAbility to satisfy FAA resume approval processes10 Years of experience in performing the responsibilities and functions with respect to FAA programs/projectsDetail oriented, independent, self-motivated, and a proactive team memberExcellent oral and written communication skills for interactions with operational, technical, and senior management audiencesProgram management skills to include life-cycle management, work definition, requirements, and schedule and financial managementHigh level of proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office productsEducationBachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science DegreeTravelProject related travel as requiredCavan Solutions is a woman-owned aviation consulting company that combines systems engineering, operational expertise, and government business acumen to realize benefits of the evolving National Airspace System (NAS).Our principals are recognized leaders who successfully managed billion-dollar air traffic system modernization programs; participated in concept exploration, R&D, and field trials of NextGen technologies; and successfully navigated the technical, procedural, fiscal, and political complexities of deploying new systems and capabilities.Many core NAS systems have been modernized which shifts the focus of continued evolution from development to integration.
