Position: Data Scientist / Machine Learning EngineerClient: AI-Driven HealthTech / Biosignal Analytics ProductEngagement Type: Consulting → Potential Phase 3 ImplementationLocation: RemoteLevel: Junior/MiddleRole OverviewWe are looking for a Data Scientist / ML Engineer with a biomedical signal processing background to support development of real-time AI solutions based on physiological signals.The role begins with consulting, followed by hands-on model training and optimization during Phase 3 of product development.The ideal candidate has experience working with messy physiological datasets, including ECG, EEG, EOG, brain waves, or other low-frequency biosignals, and is comfortable building end-to-end ML pipelines — from signal filtering and feature engineering to real-time model deployment.Key ResponsibilitiesPhase 1–2: Consulting & ArchitectureAnalyze physiological signal datasets and data qualityRecommend signal preprocessing and filtering strategiesDefine feature engineering approach for biosignalsSuggest model architecture for real-time predictionsAdvise on data pipeline and training strategyHelp define evaluation metrics and validation approachPhase 3: Model Training & ImplementationProcess low-frequency physiological signals (ECG, EEG, brain waves, biosignals)Apply signal filtering, noise reduction, and transformationsBuild feature extraction pipelines from physiological dataTrain and optimize machine learning modelsSupport real-time inference and model performance optimizationWork closely with engineering team for model integrationImprove model accuracy through experimentation and iterationRequired Experience 2+ years experience as Data Scientist / ML Engineer / Biomedical Data ScientistStrong signal processing backgroundExperience working with physiological or biomedical signals such as:ECGEEGEOGBrain wavesOther biosignalsExperience working with low-frequency signalsExperience handling noisy or heterogeneous physiological datasetsHands-on experience with:Signal filteringMathematical filtersFeature extractionTime-series analysisPython skills:NumPySciPyPandasScikit-learnNice to HaveBiomedical engineering backgroundNeuroimaging or electrophysiology experienceExperience working with multi-source physiological datasetsExperience building reproducible research pipelinesExperience with real-time ML solutionsPyTorch / TensorFlow experienceEngagement ModelPhase 1–2: Consulting / AdvisoryPhase 3: Model Training & ImplementationMid-level hands-on specialistReal-time biosignal AI product
