Soni is partnering with a dynamic organization to find a Payroll and Benefits Administration Manager who will take the lead in managing payroll and benefits operations for a growing, multi-state workforce. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing accuracy, compliance, and employee support. The Payroll and Benefits Administration Manager will oversee end-to-end payroll processing while also administering key benefits programs, collaborating closely with Finance, Accounting, and People teams to ensure smooth operations and a strong employee experience.What You’ll DoOwn end-to-end payroll operations for a multi-state workforce of 500+ employeesRun recurring payroll cycles with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and employee experiencePartner with Finance, Accounting, Sales Compensation, and People teams to support commissions, audits, and reportingResolve complex payroll issues including corrections, off-cycle runs, garnishments, and tax noticesEnsure payroll practices align with federal, state, and local regulationsSupport year-end payroll activities including W2 processing and required filingsLead payroll setup and transitions related to acquisitions or system changesAdminister health, retirement, and wellness programs on a day-to-day basisManage open enrollment, vendor coordination, and benefits system updatesReview benefits invoices and coordinate approvals and payments with Accounting/APSupport benefits compliance efforts, reporting, and collaboration with brokersQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience3+ years of multi-state payroll experience for a mid-to-large employee population3+ years of hands-on benefits administration, including open enrollmentStrong knowledge of payroll taxes and employment-related compliance requirementsExperience with ADP Workforce Now and/or UKG preferredProficient in Excel and Microsoft 365 toolsCompensation: $100,000Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
