General Service Technician

You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a automotive repair facility! You must have your own tools! We are a family and Christian ran business, operating in Owensboro, IN. Fast Lane has been in business for 10 years and has an amazing customer base that is loyal and great to work with. We took over Fast Lane last month and have already seen great improvements in the business. We also own Full Throttle Automotive in Evansville which was voted the Top Repair Facility in the nation for 2024 by AAA. We have took the same processes and started applying them to Fast Lane which if based around clear expectations, workflow, and great customer service. Our goal is to keep the tech's hands on vehicle because we understand this is the only time the business is making money, we do that through the best operating software on the market, digital inspections, a workflow board, service advisor building all the RO's and finding parts, and we have a Quality Control/ GS tech at each location to help techs turn hours. We are proud to have brought together a great team, who works together as a family to make quality auto repair and customer service our priority! We are looking for a experienced GS tech. Your responsibilities will consist of oil changes, digital inspections, tires, tire pressure monitor install, all flushes (transmission, power steering, coolant, combustion cleaning, and brakes),and mechanical work (brakes, little suspension, belts, etc..). We work at a very high pace with a full schedule daily so must be able to work at a high pace and not miss work! Pay will vary depending on ability; you will be provided health, dental, and vision insurance with no cost to you; you will also get the opportunity for weekly commission (up to $200 per week); opportunity for monthly bonuses; uniforms provided; and many opportunities for personal growth through our monthly training sessions.
