Multi-Line Field Adjuster (Remote in NY, NJ or PA) Department:Claims Administration & AdjustingEmployment Type:Permanent - Full TimeLocation:Remote, NJReporting To:Carrie RichardsonDescription Davies North America is seeking an experienced Multi-Line Field Adjuster who will be responsible for handling a mix of property and liability field assignments, including inspections, scene investigations, damage documentation, and claim reporting across NY, NJ and PA. The role includes residential and commercial property losses, scope review, damage assessment, estimate support, and liability investigations with bodily injury or general liability claim handling.This role is ideal for a field professional who can investigate losses, inspect sites, document findings, evaluate damages and exposures, and communicate effectively with insureds, claimants, carriers, and internal stakeholders.Compensation:100% commission‐based role with 42% commission supported by a bi‐weekly draw of $1500.00.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct on‐site inspections and field investigations for assigned claimsInspect property, structures, vehicles, equipment, or accident scenes as requiredDocument damages, conditions, causation indicators, and other relevant findings through notes, measurements, photographs, and diagramsEvaluate loss facts and support investigation of coverage, liability, damages, and exposureObtain statements from insureds, claimants, witnesses, or other involved parties when neededPrepare timely, accurate, and well‐documented reports for clients and internal stakeholdersCoordinate with examiners, managers, carriers, policyholders, vendors, attorneys, and other claim participants as neededMaintain complete file documentation in accordance with company standards, client instructions, and regulatory expectationsEscalate complex issues, large‐loss exposures, litigation indicators, or specialty claim concerns appropriatelyManage field assignments within service expectations, turnaround times, and quality standardsTravel throughout the assigned NJ/NY/PA territory as requiredSkills, Knowledge & Expertise3+ years of field adjusting or related claims experienceActive adjuster license(s) as required by New York, New Jersey, or other assigned jurisdictionsValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to travel locally and regionally within the assigned territoryStrong documentation, organizational, and time‐management skillsComfort using claims platforms, mobile documentation tools, and estimating/reporting systemsExperience handling field claims in property, liability, or bothAbility to work independently while managing deadlines, territory activity, and service expectationsStrong investigative mindset with high attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsProfessional presence when interacting with insureds, claimants, attorneys, vendors, and carrier representativesAbility to manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities in a fast‐paced field environmentExperience in both property and liability claims handlingMulti‐line field experienceExperience with commercial property, residential property, general liability, casualty, bodily injury, or transportation‐related claimsExperience with estimating platforms such as XactimateCarrier certifications and multi‐state licensingBilingual capabilities are a plusBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision plans to support your health and that of your familyA 401(k) plan with employer matchingTime‐off policies, including Discretionary Time Off (DTO) for exempt employees and Paid Time Off (PTO) for non‐exempt employeesPaid holidaysLife insurance and short‐term and long‐term disability coverageDiversity and Inclusion Davies is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces a wide range of perspectives and experiences.Compensation Transparency The salary range listed reflects the full compensation band for this role across all locations.
