Recent improvements to our facilities include an updated athletic training room and equipment, an indoor archery range, a new greenhouse, mobile Chromebook labs available for classroom use, and new SmartBoards installed throughout our classrooms.Our CommunityHays/Lodge Pole School District is located on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation, nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Little Rocky Mountains. The reservation is home to the Aaniiih and Nakoda peoples and offers a rich cultural environment unlike anywhere else. The district operates a K–6 school in Lodge Pole, MT, and a 7–12 Junior High and High School in Hays, MT.The Fort Belknap community embraces rodeo, powwows, fishing, hunting, and a wide range of outdoor pursuits. The reservation is also home to a herd of Tatanka — the original, full-blooded American bison — residing approximately 25 miles from our school.
