Associate Systems Engineer

Mechanical Engineer -- **Need local to Phoenix AZ Only** POSITION OVERVIEWThese are onsite positions for motivated, hands-on engineers who have knowledge of and/or experience with electro-mechanical devices. These entry-level positions are focused on lab work, including running protocols, conducting tests, and collecting data for assessment on new development functional models.Ideal candidates should be energetic, inquisitive, capable of following written instructions, and possess relevant internship experience in the medical segment. SUMMARYApplies intensive and diversified knowledge of design principles, practices, and implementation in complex systems and assignments. General responsibilities include design concept generation, participating in design reviews, development and testing to assess performance against design specifications, reliability testing, and assessment of system interactions. Makes independent decisions and assists in the development of manufacturing processes and troubleshooting issues to determine root causes and possible engineering solutions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / QUALIFICATIONSLearns to use company concepts, policies, and procedures; becomes familiar with and follows standard practices. Normally receives detailed directions on all work. Works on projects of moderate scope in which analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Makes suggestions to improve work processes. Assists in reducing patentable inventions to practice. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Participates in technical team activities. Presents and discusses data within the group. Monitors work to ensure quality and continuously promotes Quality First Time. Performs other duties as assigned by management. REQUIRED SKILLSKnowledge of basic and some specialized engineering techniques. Familiarity with searching technical literature. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, graphical, and presentation software applications. EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with 0–3 years of experience. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Systems Engineering or a related field such as Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering.
