Associate Systems Engineer

Mechanical EngineerPay Rate: $39 - $42/hrLocation: OnsiteThis is an onsite position for a motivated, hands-on engineer who has knowledge of and experience with electro-mechanical devices.Job SummaryApplies intensive and diversified knowledge of design principles, practices, and implementation in complex systems and assignments. General responsibilities include design concept generation, participation in design reviews, development and testing to assess performance against design specifications, reliability testing, and assessment of system interactions. Makes independent decisions and assists in the development of manufacturing processes. Troubleshoots issues to determine root cause and possible engineering solutions. Job Responsibilities / QualificationsLearns and applies company concepts, policies, procedures, and standard practices. Normally receives detailed directions on assigned work. Works on projects of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires review of identifiable factors. Makes suggestions to improve work processes. Assists in reducing to practice patentable inventions. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions. Participates in technical team activities. Presents and discusses data within the group. Monitors work to ensure quality and continuously promotes a “Quality First Time” mindset. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Required SkillsKnowledge of basic and specialized engineering techniques. Familiarity with searching technical literature. Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, graphical, and presentation software applications. Experience & EducationBachelor’s degree in Engineering. 0–3 years of relevant experience.
